London Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Qualifications (LCCI IQ)
LA GRANDEE is the first and only college that has been approved by London Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Qualifications (LCCI IQ) from EDI, UK. LCCI IQ is proudly known as “Passport to Employment”. It one of the world’s largest vocational qualifications awarding body, which is trusted by employers, universities and professional bodies globally. Its programs are practical and designed to be ‘fit for job’. In addition, LCCI IQ training programs provide opportunities to candidates to explore their skill and intellect, and help them in capacity building. So the students of LA GRANDEE will have access to various international training programs awarded with internationally recognized certificates.
Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) Nepal
LA GRANDEE has signed MOU with Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal through which it provides access to world-class resources for students, software developers, IT professionals, academic researchers and entrepreneurs. As a MICNIC college, we encourage professional practices, trainings and foster innovation and growth in technical skills of students as well as faculties and staff.
NAT Test
Recognized as one of the authorized test centers for the Japanese Language NAT TEST and the only publisher in Nepal for the NAT TEST practice Workbook, LA GRANDEE further extends it international association with Senmon Kyouiku Publishing Company, Tokyo, Japan, which eventually provides an exposure to its students to the international education arena.
Collaborative learning with the University of Western Australia
Public Health students from UWA and LA GRANDEE completed 12 days of collaborative study from June 27 to July 8, 2022. The study focused on a discussion about cross country’s various public health issues in which 11 students (BPH 8th semester) from LA GRANDEE and six students from UWA were involved. Participating students were divided into three groups, and each interacted in 3 different domains of public health. Besides health-related issues, students exchanged the unique culture of Nepal and Australia, which included dresses of our culture, typical food, and dances and facilitated virtual tours of touristic destinations in both countries. LA GRANDEE has been collaborating with the UWA as short-term research works since 2017 in coordination with Kanchan Nepal. This time the collaboration made was virtual. Prof. Dr Julie Saunders and the former dean of the Public Health department, the UWA, Dr Jane Heyworth, supervised UWA while the principal Er. Kiran K.C. and BPH coordinator Mr Keshab Raj Adhikari coordinated on behalf of LA GRANDEE. A former student of LA GRANDEE & the director of Waste Services Pvt Ltd, Ms Parbati Adhikari and Mr Prabin Sharma, Public health administrator, Provincial Logistic Management Division, Gandaki Province, presented the current scenario and measures related to hospital waste management and health system in federalism.
Collaboration with Nabil Bank
LA GRANDEE is always striving towards implementing innovative concepts in academics as well as development programs. As such, on March 7, 2022, LA GRANDEE signed MoU with Nabil Bank, Pokhara for a CSR program namely Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship. It is the only center in Gandaki Province. The program is a certificate course of 3 months aimed towards providing social entrepreneurial skills and knowledge to the youths in community, aged between 18 – 50 years. The program comprises of various trainings from experts in the field of business, communication, marketing, social activists, government authorities and many more. The program is supposed to run 4 cohorts of 3 months each throughout the year. Currently, 21 students have been enrolled and the next cohort will start by September for which forms have already been open. Principal of the college Er. Kiran K.C. and Gandaki Province Head, Nabil Bank – Mr. Surya Roka, jointly signed the MoU.
