Referring to the notice of Nepal Government dated 2076/12/07, we, hereby, declare that college shall remain closed from Chaitra 9 to 21, 2076 (March 22 to April 3, 2020). Further notices shall be published as per requirement.
As per Nepal Government as well as Pokhara University notice, all regular examinations and student activities are withheld until next notice.
The Hidden Treasure, Nepal, organized an event to promote Miss Nepal 2020 at LA GRANDEE International College, Pokhara, Nepal on March 11, 2020. The event was coordinated by JCI Pokhara and chaired by the college Principal, Er. Kiran K.C., who is also the advisor of JCI Pokhara. The Principal gave welcome speech with warm greetings encouraging students to grab the opportunity and explore their hidden talents. Chairman of The Hidden Treasure, Nepal, Mr. Diwakar Raj Karnikar encouraged everyone to apply for Miss Nepal 2020. Miss Nepal International 2018, Ms. Ronali Amatya, shared her experiences and encouraged everyone to participate in the interaction session and further groomed students to make their participation to showcase the internal skills and talents. President, Mr. Shiva Sapkota of JCI Pokhara along with his team facilitated the program, while our college ex-student and the President of JCI Myagdi was also present in the program. The program was coordinated by Academic Dean, Dr. Krishna Raj Bhandari.
Encouraged by the target to be certified as ISO 9001:2015, LA GRANDEE International College has successfully completed two days of INTERNAL QUALITY AUDIT on January 23 and 24, 2020. The audit was led by Ms. Isuja Aryal, consultant from Soft-Tech C.I.Pvt. Ltd. Kathmandu. All levels of hierarchy at the LA GRANDEE participated enthusiastically to understand the current situation and spot the gap that needs to be completed before final certification in March-April 2020 time-frame. Academic Dean coordinated the event while Principal Er. Kiran K.C. inspired participants to consistently contribute towards improvement and enhancement of the quality aspects of academics, operation and management.
LA GRANDEE Alumni is an association for building network of all the LA GRANDEE International College graduates. This shall be a platform for the our graduates to get connected to college even after graduation. The Alumni has been formally declared with its official announcement on January 9, 2020 on the occasion of Farewell program to Batch 2015. December 30, 2019 marked an important day in LA GRANDEE’s history as Er. Kiran KC, Principal of LA GRANDEE and Mr. Manoj Itani, General Manager of Himalaya Organization signed an MoU for internship and career development opportunities for LA GRANDEE students in the presence of department coordinator Mr. Suraj Gaudel, administrator Mr. Gyanendra Poudel, exam coordinator Mr. Jai Lal Sharma and Mr. Dipendra Gurung, human resource manager of HIMALAYA.
Himalaya organization is an umbrella organization with its multi-constituent companies in Automobile, Real-Estate, Hospitality, Education and Finance Sector. Mr Gurung highlighted the achievements of the organization from humble beginnings as a maintenance provider to the importer of automobiles for whole Nepal; and invited students to be the part of their success. Closing remarks were given by Principal Er. Kiran KC who once again inspired students to grab such opportunities to build their career apart from banking and finance sector . The program was coordinated by academic dean & associate professor Dr. (Er.) Krishna Raj Bhandari.
The new batch 2019 for all programs (BCA, BBA & BPH) started at LA GRANDEE International College with an orientation and motivational session. The event was held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 (Kartik 17, 2076) at LA GRANDEE auditorium where each department coordinators (Er. Dipak KC, Mr. Suraj Gaudel, and Mr. Keshav Raj Adhikari) guided students on curriculum, examination procedure and career scope of each program after completion of the studies.
College Principal, Er. Kiran K.C., inspired students with his message to achieve extra-heights and build a family culture of cooperation with students, faculty, and teachers. Almost all students from each department were present along with other faculties and staff. The program was hosted by faculty Mr. Bishnu Prasad Timilsina. We congratulate and wish all the best to all the fresher students for their successful academic journey.
